Client Update: Protecting Your Information Online

As part of our ongoing commitment to keeping your personal and financial information safe, we wanted to send a quick reminder about email security and best practices when sharing documents.

With cyber-security risks on the rise across Australia, and the recent awareness around how Gmail’s Gemini AI may interact with inbox data, it’s more important than ever to be mindful about how sensitive documents are shared online. While tools like these can be helpful, they’re still evolving, and taking a cautious approach helps protect your personal information.

How to Keep Your Information Secure

✔ Use our Secure Finance Vault Whenever possible, please upload your documents through our Secure Finance Vault. This is the safest way to share information with us, with bank-level encryption and controlled access.

✔ Password-protect sensitive documents If you do need to send documents via email, please ensure they’re password-protected. You can text us the password or send it via a separate email.

✔ Avoid sending documents through unsecured links Be cautious of email links, unexpected attachment requests, or prompts to share files in new ways. If you're ever unsure, just reach out to us directly.

✔ Keep your email account secure Enable two-factor authentication (2FA), use a strong password, and regularly check your account activity.

We’re Here to Support You
